A restless century, a confused future. The century that elapsed since the Great Union has been the most restless one in the history of Romania and of the entire world.

A sunny horizon seemed to open to the Romanians on the 1st of December 1918, but it did only partly so. Some 22 years later, the history road roller honoured the country again. 1989, the year the communist dictatorship collapsed, awoke great hopes again. Achievements are pale for now and hopes are lessened.

The international arena is burdened with dangers and challenges. Lord, protect the Romanians!
