Cristina Ștefan : The physical distance was not an obstacle to remembering my great grandparents

100 years after the Great Union, I am thinking nostalgically about the time I lived abroad, away from everything that is precious and essential to my emotional existence. On the other hand, the physical distance was not an obstacle to remembering my great grandparents and my great-great-grandparents, the history of the country where I grew up, I breathed and which contributed to my training as a human being, researcher, wife, mother and citizen of this country I am very proud of. I entertain the hope that the next 100 years in Romania’s life will be filled with joy, respect and dignity for all Romanians who love it and believe in it.
