To be the President of Romania is an honourable mission, but a hard one, since: … Very few understand that the country’s great priority is to have its security assured, learning the lessons of our recent history; Very few understand that the reunification of the country is the key to reaffirming the Romanian nation; Very few understand that in the absence of an independent, fair, rational, and arrogance-free system of justice, the human fundamental rights cannot be guaranteed; Very few understand that in the absence of a good education and health system, we have no future as a nation; Very few understand that, in the absence of a free media, a whole people is manipulated in the interests of some heads of state, institutions or groups of illegitimate interests; Very few understand that prosperity can only come after the country has got all these. When will Romanians understand that the rise in wages, pensions and welfare is useless, as long as public systems are not capable to guarantee their security, education, health, justice and correct information?
