Man is the artisan of history and, therefore, of its centuries. We want to know what was Romanian and productive in the hundred years preceding 2018. We are looking for the people who excelled in that time. We try to enumerate some of them, but it is true that one hundred at least deserve praise. We start with Kogalniceanu, a history professor at Iasi and a militant for the unity of the Principalities.

He is elected prime-minister of his government by Cuza and remains a symbol of this historic act. Spiru Haret, who had his doctorate in astronomy in Paris, was the leader of the most daring and rich school syllabus, to which he dedicated his life.

Mihai Eminescu (1850-1889) is an outstanding figure in the list. He is the greatest poet of the Romanians. Nicolae Iorga (1871-1940). The greatest historian of our country, he had an exceptional mind. He would record everything and then quote literally whenever appropriate.Then there is the theater, the arts, the music. This sketchy and incomplete picture means only to point out that the observance of the good criteria and the international affirmation have demonstrated for centuries on end what Romanians can contribute to the treasury of the world.
