Romania, at 100 years, means liberation from the Mioritical fatalism. Romania’s presence is defined by the European accession and the aspiration towards exemplarity and performance. I am grateful to all the Romanians in the country and in the diaspora for my feeling of national pride and the pleasure of returning to the origins whenever possible.
