Maria Ciobanu: Love the authentic Romanian folklore, cultivate it and carry it forward to your children!

We have a beautiful country, with many natural riches and a strong, hardworking and talented people. We lived through the horrors of the war and of communism, but we recovered and moved on. In 100 years, our society has evolved a lot, and even if it seems that we have lost direction to some extent in the latest 28 years, I have great confidence in the new generation. That’s why I want to give young people a wholehearted piece of advice: never forget that you are Romanians, love your country as you love your parents and, most of all, love the authentic Romanian folklore, cultivate it and carry it forward to your children, because it is part of our national history and identity!
